Lens coach Haise: Of course, Varane interests me with his qualities!

Lens coach Franck Haise admits he's keen to sign Manchester United defender Raphael Varane.

Varane will leave United this summer after three seasons at Old Trafford.

The veteran has talked up the prospect of returning to former club Lens.

"Of course, Varane interests me with his qualities as a player, as a leader and with his human qualities: what he represents and what he is capable of giving," he said.

"If there was an opportunity (to sign Varane) I would be the happiest coach."
