It was first reported last Thursday that Dan Quinn was being hired as the Washington Commanders next head coach.
Dallas Cowboys star running back Tony Pollard found out about the team's former defensive coordinator's departure on Wednesday, six days after nearly everyone else did.

Pollard told "The Pat McAfee Show" on Wednesday that he got rid of his social media accounts during the 2023 season, so he was unaware of Quinn's move until his midweek appearance on the program.
The 2022 Pro Bowler said without the distraction of social media, he's "more present" at home and with his kids. Pollard added that he enjoys watching television, movies and is big into UFC.
Pollard's dedication to stay off social media in recent months is impressive. Still, it's hard to fathom how he went nearly a week without hearing from someone that his team's defensive coordinator landed a new job with a division rival.
